Royal Decree No. (35258) was issued on (22/9/1434H), approving the formation of Insurance Disputes and Violations Settlement Appeal Committee, stipulated in Clause (1) of Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law, for three years starting from the date of this Decree. This committee shall operate in accordance with Article (8) of the Operation Rules and Procedures of Insurance Disputes and Violations Settlement Committees, which stated that: (The Appeal Committee shall have the jurisdiction to settle grievances submitted by concerned persons against the decisions issued by the Preliminary Committees. The Appeal Committee may only examine decisions of cases where the amount decided is less than SAR 50,000).
