Ministerial Resolution No. (1648) was issued on (27/5/1436H) to regulate the mechanism of filing cases to Insurance Disputes and Violations Settlement Committees, set the accepted means for service of process and specify time and place of convening insurance committees in general and the territorial jurisdiction of preliminary committee in particular. This should be made through specifying the administrative regions in the Kingdom and linking those regions to committees' branches in the three regions (Riyadh-Jeddah-Dammam), taking into account the distance between these regions and branches of committees.
